There are over 3,500 pubs in London. According to the House of Commons Library and the British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA), there were 47,200 pubs in the UK in 2019. The information states that 23,400 of these pubs were independent, 13,900 were owned by Pub Companies, and breweries owned 9,900. From 2019 to 2020, London had a 1.1% increase in pubs. Yorkshire and the Humber and Wales also saw increases in the number of pubs.
